Royal Trekking
The Royal Trek

Royal trekking is in surrounding hills of Pokhara. Royal trekking was initially pioneered by prince Charles of England and hence it came to be known as the Royal Trekking. It is a moderately easy trekking. Trekkers while doing this trekking will get excellent mountain views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt Fishtail (Machhapuchare), Mt. Manasalu and others. Walking through villages of different communities like Gurung, Magar, Kami, Chhetri and Bramins will give experience of different lifestyle and culture of Nepalese people. The trek Starts from Kalikastan ridge, about 25 km drive from scenic Pokhara and ends at Chisapani 12 km west of Pokhara City. Royal trekking is an absolutely less traffic and lovely walking trekking trail.

Itinerary

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu international airport, transfer to the hotel. Orientation of the trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara. 7 hours scenic drive. Afternoon free time. O/n at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive to Bijayapur (1/2 h). Trek start to the Kalikastan(1370m). O/n at Camp.

Day 04: Kalikastan to Shaklung (1730m).O/n at Camp.

Day 05: Shaklung to Chisapani. O/n at Camp.

Day 06: Chisapani to Pokhara: Descend to the Pokhara valley. Join the road then drive  to Pokhara (12km). Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 07: Morning drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 08: Transfer to the international airport for your onward journey. More>>

Accomodation during trekking

In above trekking we offer you accommodation in tea house (mountain lodge). A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out.
