Lamjung Himal Sikles trekking is another wonderful trekking route less known by many trekkers. Lies in Annapurna conservation region, Lamjung Himal Sikles Trekking starts from Beshisahar through the typical Gurung villages of Kapoorgaon, Ghalegaon, Ghanapokhara and ends Vijayapur near Pokhara. The optimum spot of Lamjung Himal Sikles Trekking is Dudhapokhari, located on the southwestern slopes of Mount Buddha and Mount Himal Chuli. Dudhapokhari is a sacred lake and also an important pilgrimage site of local inhabitants where great fair is occurred on Janai Purnima (Hindu festival) in August. Visiting this lake we trek down to Telbrung Danda and proceed to Sikless. From Sikless we move to Pokhara. The splendid views from Lamjung Himal Sikles Trekking are Mt. Manasalu West face, Mt Lamjung, Peak 29, Mt. Himalchuli, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Mardi and also Mount Annapurna range.
Lamjung Himal Sikles Trekking Itinerary
Day 01 : Upon arrival in Kathmandu international airport, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 : Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Drive to Kapoor Gaon via Beshi Sahar. O/n in tent
Day 04 : Trek to Ghale Gaon (4 hrs). O/n in tent

What is Camping Trekking? How is it organized?
In a camping trek you will sleep in our tents. The tents are roomy. The sleeping pads/ mattresses are comfortable. All food are prepared and served by our camping crew. Food you get is hygienic and fresh.
What equipments should I bring?

What kind of food will be served while on trek?
You will be served freshly cooked food during trekking. In all tea houses/ lodges along trekking trail Western, Continental and Nepali dishes are available. Three meals a day will be provided you in full board (Gold) package.
How long do we trek per day and how high?
Up to a maximum of 5-6 hours a day with lunch breaks along the trail. The maximum altitude is depends upon which trek you are going. In Nepal normally the maximum altitude of most of the trekking falls between 3500m to 5000m.
What is the best season for trekking in Nepal? And can I go trekking in the months of January- February and June- August?

What happens if I get sickness during trekking?
To some trekkers when they go over 3000 m they may feel some affect of altitude sickness like shortness of breath and possibly a light headed which is fairly common. Sometime they may also get diarrhea as well as sprains and muscle aches. More
