Ama Dablam Expedition

Ama Dablam Expedition is one of the most extreme mountain excursions done in Everest region at Himalaya. This mountain Ama Dablam is the most beautiful and iconic mountain in Everest region which literally means mother of jewel. It’s really beautiful and eye-catching in an elevation of 6856m/22490ft thus it totally deserves that name Ama Dablam.  Mt Ama Dablam 6856m/22490ft is very challenging to conquer according to many successful climbers it is way tougher as climbing Mt Everest 8,848m. It takes four weeks to complete the Ama Dablam climb from beginning to the end.

The journey starts at Kathmandu with a beautiful scenic Himalayan flight to Lukla 2810m which takes about half an hour. We walk to Phakding 2610m for the overnight stay on the first day. We go to Namche Bazar 3440m on the second day of a journey where we stay one more day for acclimatization and we go to few hundred meters higher for the excursion we visit Hotel Everest view 3860m on that day. Then next day journey goes to Tengboche 3867m where there is the very famous monastery of the region. Next day after getting a blessing from monk we head to Pangboche 4000m. Next day we head to Ama Dablam base camp where we set up a tent and prepare for the expedition. It takes nearly two weeks to the summit. After the successful summit, we head to Everest Base Camp and come back to Kathmandu.

Ama Dablam which is also known as Matterhorn of Himalaya is itself a challenging mountain for summiting. The view that we can see from the top is outstanding we can see a bunch of mountain over eight thousand with a single glance.
