Jiri everest base camp trekking is the most traditional trekking trail of Everest region. From historical point of view also Classic Everest Trekking is famous. This is the same route which was used by the early expedition teams to climb Everest from Nepal part. Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, the first successful climbers of Mount Everest went through this trail to climb Mount Everest. Classic Everest Trekking begins from Jiri after six hours of scenery drive from Kathmandu. On the next day of your arrival in Jiri your trekking starts following the places of Shivalaya, Bahandar, Set, Junbeshi, Nunthala, Bupsa, Ghat. After you come to Ghat, from there you follow the route of currently popular route from Lukla. While walking you visit delightful Sherpa villages, where you'll meet the friendly people and soak up the colors, sights, and sounds of village life as well as the spirituality of Tibetan Buddhism so prevalent in the Himalaya. The last destination of Classic Everest Trekking is Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp. The period of Classic Everest Trekking a little bit long. In this trekking you will experience an unbeatable combination of natural beauty and cultural splendor. The prominent mountains to be sighted during trekking are Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Kwangde, Mt. Twache, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Thamsherku and Mt. Everest.

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu International airport transfer to the hotel. Orientation of the trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri (6 hrs scenic drive). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 03: Jiri to Shivalaya (1767m). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 04: Shivalaya to Bhandar (2,040m). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 05: Bhandar to Sete (2,575m). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 06: Sete to Junbesi (2,675m). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 07: Junbesi to Nuntala (2,320m). O/n at mountain Lodge.
Day 08: Nuntala to Bupsa (2,310m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

A typical Tea house(Lodge)trekking day:
A typical trekking day means hiking from morning to afternoon only. Each morning after packing bags and having a good breakfast, we set off on the day's walk. We will recommend you to carry is a small day pack containing water bottle,sun cream, hat, raincoat, camera and warm jumper just case. Rest of your materials the porters will carry. Accomodation during trekking
In above trekking we offer you accommodation in tea house (mountain lodge). A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. More
