Machhapuchhre Trekking

Machhapuchhre Trekking Machhapuchhre Model trekking is one of the newly identified trekking trails in Annapurna region. The trail takes visitors to the closest view of Mt. Mardi (5553 m) and Mt. Machhapurchare (6997 m) also popular as Mt. Fishtail among most of foreigners. Mt. Fishtail is still virgin for mountaineering activity and not opened for this by Nepal government to preserve its unique fish tail shape. Besides mountain views this trekking trail also offers scenic beauty of streams, lush vegetation and indigenous lifestyles and culture of ethnic dwellers. This trail also holds importance in the context of road construction along the traditional trekking routes of Annapurna region. On the first day of trekking day we take short drive from Pokhara to Mardi Pool. Then start trekking to Hile. Following days we visit Khumai, Korchaung, Kharka, Pipar, Karuwa, Ghiprang, Gharchok and end our trek at Mardi Pool.

Itinerary

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu international airport, transfer to the hotel.
Orientation of the trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus(7h drive).
Free time at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 03: Drive Pokhara to Mardi Pool. Start trekking Ghachok (1254m)- Hille (2160m).
Overnight at Camp

Day 04: Hile- Khumai (3245m). Overnight at Camp

Day 05: Khumai- Korchung (3682m)- Kharka. Overnight at Camp

Day 06: Kharka- Pipar (3310m). Overnight at Camp

Day 07: Pipar- napping area. Overnight at Camp

Day 08: Pipar- Karuwa (1380m). Overnight at Camp

Day 09: Karuwa- Ghiprang (1440m)- Ghachok (1254m). Overnight at Camp. More>>

Accomodation during trekking

The above trekking route is in remote area of Nepal. This place is still out of modern civilization. There are very few tea houses/ lodes along the trail. So we offer you accommodation in tent. The tents will be roomy. The sleeping pads/ mattresses will be comfortable. You will sleep in sleeping bag on the mattress inside the tent. We supply all required camping equipments from Kathmandu. Meals during trekking

As this trekking is fully organized camping trek, there will be one experienced cook and his helpers with your team. He will cook meals for you in kitchen tent. He serves you varieties of food in dinning tent.  Normally the kitchen team offers you following items. More

We offer you an experienced trekking guide. He is in charge of your overall trekking. This is the person you should go to with all problems, concerns and questions. Health & Veccinations

For trekking Nepal you don't need to be a mountaineer with rippling muscles. If you are reasonably fit, have a spirit of mountain journey and like walking, you are always qualified for any trekking in Nepal. You do not need any previous experience. More

Passport and Visa

All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visas to enter Nepal. Nepalese visa can be obtained from Nepalese Embassy or consulate in your home country or it can also be obtained at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival. More
