This tour is especially for the people who love wildlife, bird watching and want to explore jungle. In this tour you are taken to travel in two National parks: Chitwan National Park and Bardia National Park. These national parks are located in the southern belt of Nepal is called Terai. They preserve some of the best wildlife habitat in the Asia sub continent. Both protected areas have dense forest with verities of animals including endangered ones like one horned rhinos, royal Bengal tigers, gharial crocodile, fresh water dolphin etc. Besides wildlife and plants the walking tour to their nearby tribal villages and their cultural show make your trip more exciting.
Nepal Wildlife Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport. Meet our representative. Transfer to the hotel. Orientation of the program. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Heritages of Kathmandu valley (Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square). Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Morning drive to Chitwan National Park (5 hours). Upon arrival at hotel, briefing about jungle programs. Jungle walking. Evening participate in cultural dance show by local villagers. Overnight at hotel in Chitwan.
Day 4: Full day jungle activities (Elephant ride, Canoeing in the Rapti River, Bird Watching, Elephant bathing, village tour).
Day 5: After breakfast drive to Bardiya National Park (Around 9 hours). Upon arrival in Bardiya Resort, briefing about jungle program. Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Bardiya.
Day 6: Jungle activities (Elephant Ride Safari, Jungle Walking, visit Elephant Breeding Center, Tharu village tour). Overnight at hotel in Bardiya.
Day 7: Jungle activities (Walking to Karnali River and see dolphins, Bird watching). Overnight at hotel in Bardiya.
Day 8: After breakfast drive to Nepalgunj airport (two and half hrs). Fly back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day on your own. Evening farewell dinner with taste of nepali cuisine at typical Restaurant with cultural show.
Day 9: Preparation for your departure. Transfer to the Kathmandu International airport for your onward journey.
