We all are so happy with Himalayan Smile team and thanka lot for your management and professionalism. Please keep on it forever. I am fond of themountains. I usually do travelling to different mountain zones and capture beautiful views to my cameras. This time I decided to go Annapurna Base Camp, Lamjung Himal and Milke Danda, near to Kanchenjunga region. First of all as our plan we trekked to Annapurana Base camp. Then one day stay in Pokhara. We trekked to Lamjung himal. It was a full camping trekking. As compared to ABC it was a quite zone. We took photos of excellent views of Mt. Manasalu, Lamjung and Himalchuli. View MoreS. Trekking with Himalayan Smile Treks & adventures
Since I was a child I had a dream of once going to the mighty Sagarmatha. When I was medical student I missed an opportunity, but now at 55 I grasped my chances. Finding trekking companies for the Solukhumbu is not difficult. But a good one, I found only by studying well the different websites, testimonials and even contacting TAAN. Himalayan Smile treks was a big hit, for sure. From the preparative contacts to a warm welcome arriving in KTM. Mr. Suman is a young trekking entrepreneur, who knows his world, has nearly familiar and very friendly contact with his clients, which become friends of him. I can assure you that.
His guides have the same spirit. Michael, my guide, was as a brother for me. He learned me to know better his beautiful country with its friendly people. He has his heart on the right spot, like we say in Europe. Our "social" discussions at the dinner table were nice endings of fruitfull trekking days. When at an evening in Lobuche AMS lurked a little bit around the corner, Micheal was there with his garlic soup, so I could proceed my way.
Seeing Everest from almost 6000m, was the climax of this sunny and splendid week, full of emotions, I will never forget. Like the real expeditions, we stayed too long at our secret viewpoint. So we had to do nightwork (with headlamps), to be back at time in Lukla, very exciting.
Back in KTM, Suman personally offered me a nice sightseeing tour through KTM en Bhaktapur.
To say goodbye to my friends Suman and Michael at the end was not simple, but occasionally of a short time. Because of a Indian visa problem I had to stay one day longer in KTM. I called the only person I knew in KTM, Suman. What he did that day was top-level service (he arranged everything for my: new VISA, he gave me a extra KTM tour, a fantastic hotel at a fairly good price, etc…).
If I come back for another trekking, surely it’s with Himalayan Smile treks, they are simply the best!!!

We got that the decision to have our trek with Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures was the best. We did a trek of Tengboche from October 29th 2009 to November 08 2009. The main aim of this trip was to participate in Mani Rimbu festival. Mani Rimbu is a really exciting festival that celebrates in Tengboche Monastery can be reached one day walk from Namche monastery. It was beyond our expectation. We surprised the Bhuddisht rituals and different musical instruments used by the monks. We got there a kind of great spiritual environment. We thank the management of Himalayan Smile. They organize everything perfectly from the beginning to the end. They provided us good guide named Dawa Sherpa and hard working porters. They are so nice and helpful people. So it was real pleasure to spend with them those days. and other trekking materials. Overall to say the trek was an amazing experience. We are sure to have the next trek with again Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures, Kathmandu Nepal.

We are greatly indebted to Himalayan Smile team for helping us to fulfill our dream of Island Expedition. We thought Island peak was out of the realm of possibility when looking at the prices of the other companies. We are so grateful that you made it possible. We arrived in Kathmandu on 10th October 2010 with six groups. After one day stay in Kathmandu we fly to Lukla. It was fantastic scenic mountain flight provided beautiful close up of view higher Himalayan range. As soon as arrived in Lukla airport our trekking began. First of all we trekked to Kalapathar. After enjoying the great view of Mt. Everest at Kalapathar we moved to Chhukung. We stayed in Chukkung one more extra day for acclimatization and preparation for climbing. Our climbing guides taught us basic climbing techniques. Then we started Isalnd peak climbing. Although our all team did not succeed whole peak climbing it was a great experience. We really enjoyed it. We do not have any comments on the management of Himalayan Smile Treks. We highly appreciate the leading style and the management of Mr. KP. All the climbing guides were highly experienced and helpful. We found that such management and helpful trekking crew we had not ever got in previous trekking in Nepal. As a result of our satisfaction, we are planning Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trekking in 2010 April. Thankyou very much to Himalayan Smile and all the best for your bright future in trekking and adventure operations in Nepal.

I had a plan of trekking in Annapaurna Ghorepani from long time. But because of lack of sufficient of leisure time I could not fulfill my plan. But this time I managed it and I came to Nepal with five colleagues. After we landed at Kathmandu Airport we were heartily welcomed by Himalayan Smile team. In Kathmandu we stayed at The Malla Hotel, beautiful five star hotel. There we were introduced our trekking guide Mr. Nabin Rai. He was experienced trekking guide. Next day we went to Pokhara by flight. And same day we started trekking. We began our trekking from Nayapul and ended at same spot. This trekking was really amazing and incredible one. Great mountain view, beautiful ethnic villages, local hospitality was memorable things we all experienced. Our guide and porters were so friendly. We could never forget their services to us.

The credit of this success we would to give Himalayan Smile Company. If they did not provide us such friendly guides, cook and laborious we could not have got such experience. We do not have any comment on their services. Everything was outstanding. Kind regards and many thanks!

Hello! I am an educator from northern Minnesota in the US of A. who just completed a 17 day loop trek to Everest base camp with Kul Prasad Subedi who goes by the nickname of KP. I want anyone who is considering a trek to consider KP as their guide as he not only is very knowledgeable in the culture, people, customs, flora, fauna, mountains, and anything else one would want to know about Nepal, but also has a GREAT sense of humor! He will make you laugh along the trekking trail! I had an absolutely awesome time and 95% of this is directly attributable to having KP as my professional guide. KP watches out for your safety and checks in just the right amount to see how you are doing as you complete the trek. He is a true gentleman. I appreciated being able to trek at my own pace as I was coming from flat MN at 1500 feet. He not only has professionalism in dealing with any safety factors along the way, but makes sure you are comfortable both physically and psychologically and so I highly recommend KP. Not only was he a guide extraordinaire, but he lined up an opportunity for me to connect with a school in his home area so that we might become sister schools with the school on a Native American reservation where I teach. Please feel free to contact to KP and his office.

I was able to spend 12 days with KP in Nepal, visiting the lower Mustang area.
I would recommend KP as a trekking guide to all kind of people, He is very good and friendly with everybody, You feel at home as soon as you see this guy. Also great knowledge about culture, flowers, animals noises and much more. He has a good sense of humor and not to forget he loves eating, so always a good place to eat. If I did not want to talk I was walking next to him dreaming away. He knows when to talk and let people in their own nature. So, do not hesitate going somewhere with KP! I am sure you will have a great time. Please feel free to contact him.
