Yoga & Meditation

Yoga and Meditation has an inter relationship. Yoga denotes simple physical exercise to a larger spiritual value of life. Likewise Meditation is a concentration connecting human value to super consciousness. In fact we learn a real art of living performing yoga and meditation.

The word Yoga has come from Sanskrit word “Yog”which means “To Join”. Yogis (the Practioner of yoga) say that the proper physical exercises take you to the sublime where you can experience eternal delight and happiness. Yoga has eight fold paths. These paths looks deeply into the morality of living. They are Yama (self restraints), Niyama (self observances) Asana, Pranayama (breath techniques), Pratyhara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (identification with pure consciousness). This eight fold clears that meditation is also a part of yoga.

For practicing yoga and meditation we need proper place otherwise we cannot achieve what we desire. Himalayan region is a most appropriate place for Yoga and meditation. Lots of great saints and people got self realization in this holy place. Actually this region is isolated place from the world.

We proudly announce you that Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures has been arranging different meditational and yoga programs as our guest interest. We have a good connection with numerous spiritual institutions. So please let us know your interest and time period. Accordingly we arrange you programs.
