Bhaktapur Durbar square : Bhaktpur is an ancient city, full of newari art and cultural heritage which is only 13 km from Kathmandu. The heritage sight durbar square which consist of a four distinct square (durbar Square, Taumadhi square, Dattatreya square and pottery square), known as Bhaktapur Durbar square; royal palace of ancient Bhaktpur kingdom. Durbar square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skill of the newari artists and craftsmen over several centuries. The palace is famous by 55 window palace as well which is listed in UNSCO World heritage sites.
Pasupatinath Temple: Pasupatinath is holy temple which is biggest Hindu temple of lord Shiva in the world. The temple served as the seat of national deity which is situated amidst many other god and goddess temple on the bank of Bagmati River. The cremations that attract many visitors both Nepalese and foreign visitors. It is listed in UNESCO World Heritage sites list. The temple is near to International airport of Kathmandu.
Baudhanath Stupa: Boudha – Nath Stupa In this container also the four pairs of the Buddha’s eyes give a bright flash to the four cardinal directions meaning to keep a diligent watch over the people and their commitments all day all night. The chhorten embraces the authentic philosophy of mahayan the faith of which is known as Lamaism in Sikkim, Ladakh, Bhutan and Tibet.
The trail descends slowly until you climb again to mountain ridge to Almara. Pass the forest trail to arrive at Riden Gaon. The valley here cuts into another side of the river to enter Budhi Gandaki. At Lambesi, the trail follows down to the sandy river bed of Budhi Gandaki. 5h walking. O/n at Tea house.
The trail stays relatively easy in the morning and goes through Khorlabesi. A brief stop at Tatopani, to check out the hot spring is followed by a steep climb through Dobhan. The trail drops down into the banks of the Yaru Khola at Yaru Beshi. From Yaru Beshi the trail climb up to the Jagat. 6h walking. O/n at Tea house.
The path gets steep near Sirdibas and after crossing a dramatic suspension bridge, another good climb leads to a beautiful village of Phillim, the biggest village until the pass. From Deng the trail steadily loses height and heads into a new valley, leaving the trail to Tsum Valley behind. The path gets steeper for a while and then steadies near Pewa. After Pewa, another uphill walk continues for the rest of the day and ends at Deng. The change in culture can be experienced at Deng. 7h waling. O/n at Tea house.
A steady trail starts the day, followed by a steep climb until the village of Rana. The trail drops and climbs a steep part to get to Bihi Phedi and then undulates into the valley and finally reaches Ghap. From Ghap the trek enters into higher altitudes, gradually gaining more height through the forest following the now much smaller Budhi Gandaki River. A steep climb through the forest until the village of Namrung . 8h walking. O/n at Tea house.
After a brief walk on an easy terrain, the trail starts to go uphill until the village of Shyo. View of Manaslu (8156m/26751) appears towards west as the path drops into a river and yet again gets uphill until it reaches Lho. From Lho the trail once again drops into a river and yet again, is followed by a climb. The climb ends at Shyala and the valley starts to open up with the trail turning into an easy walk through the pasturelands. 8h walking. O/n at Tea house.
Today is your hardest day in your trekking to Manaslu circuit trekking. After one hour flat yak pastureland walking the trail start zigzag steep yak trail to the Manaslu Base camp. Below you observe glacier lake. You will encounter many Yak and wild deer and blue sheep. We will suggest you from here for further hike please discuss your guide.
Also you have another option for today, you can day hike to the valley into the northeast of Samdo. This hike also provides spectacular view of a towering Samdu Ri (6335 meters). 10 h walking. O/n at Tea house.
The trail gradually climbs through the valley and continue to follow the river. The path then gets steeper at the end of the day and reaches the village of Samdu, with Samdu peak (6335m/20778ft) towering on the east direction. 4h walking. O/n at Tea house.
The trail gradually descends briefly and then starts to ascend afterwards towards the Larkya Glacier. The path becomes easier and ends at the start of the next day’s climb at Dharmasala. 4h walking. O/n at Tea house.
An early start and a gradual ascend into the Larkya Glacier only ends at the top of the pass. The top rewards with the views of Himlung (7126m/23373ft), Annapurna II (7937m/26033ft), Kang guru (6981m/22897ft) and several other pinnacles standing above 6000m/20000ft. A steep drop starts on the snow and later on, the glacial moraine continues for the rest of the day. The descent finally ends with the view of Bhimthang located on a huge flat ground. 10h walking. The trail quickly drops in and out of a glacier and then starts to drop towards the lower valley through the forest. The path once again follows the river by its banks and finally passes through Surki Khola and Goa while consistently losing more altitude. The path still continues to go down and joins a newly constructed road near before reaching the busy settlement of Dharapani. The trail here joins with the famed Annapurna Circuit and also the newly constructed road. The trail continuous descend to the Tal. 8h walking. O/n at Tea house.
