Annapurna trek 5 days

We start early in the morning from Pokhara taking Jeep to the trek starting point. We drive through Pokhara Beni highway for 45Km which is a paved road and the rest is four-wheel drives. We drive 5 hours in total. Awe-inspiring scenery can be seen during the drive that we can see Himalaya, Green hill, Small terrace, Local farmer which is very spectacle. We stop at Birethanti for permit check-in from there inside its Annapurna conservation area. After Birethanti it’s all gravel roads. We start to trek after reaching Sarbung 1700. From here you will cross a long new suspension bridge to Jhinu Danda (17 80 m). After tea coffee in Jhinu Danda the trail steep climb to the Chomrong village (2170 m). Drive 5 hrs. 2hrs trek. Overnight at mountain lodge.

We start after having breakfast at 8:00 in the morning. The trail goes downhill through the village Chhomrong which is very unique and authentic. The trail goes uphill after crossing the suspension bridge all the way to Sinwa which is the last village in the sanctuary. The trail goes through jungle high above the gorge where we have a chance to witness several birds and animal species. The trail goes mostly through a lush green forest. Halfway we stop for launch at the place called Bamboo (2310m). From Bamboo trail passes through the lush bamboo and Rhododendron forest to the Himalayan hotel (2875 m).7 hour walk / Overnight at mountain lodge.

From the Himalaya hotel trail continue up to the Hinku Cave (3150 m), it is an avalanche zone of Hiunchuli and here is still a risk of avalanche on this stage of the trail after heavy rain or snow. From here cross the stream and climb to the Deurali (3230 m). The trail goes through the left side of the gorge where you always can see river Modi Khola. Sheer cliff rising high above the cloud are breathtaking here. You have the scenery changing in every turn. After Machhapuchhre base camp, we have the company of panoramic Mountain View which is very impressive. We stop for launch at Machhapuchhre base camp. From ABC the first half an hour steadily climbs, after that the trail gradually climb to the ABC. After reaching Annapurna base camp (4130m), walk to observe around sanctuary and glacier. 7-hour walk. Overnight at mountain lodge.

Early morning after watching crystal clear panoramic view of the snowcapped mountain we take breakfast and walk back down to Sinwa which is mostly downhill. You can enjoy the scenery and observe in detail while walking back because going up is not very relaxing. We stop for launch at Deurali or Dovan. Electricity, hot shower and internet are available at Sinuwa so you can rejuvenate and share your trip story. We walk seven-hour in total overnight at a mountain lodge.

Early morning we commence our journey back after breakfast. The trail goes down first and uphill to Chhomrong and Downhill to Jhinudanda where we stop for hot spring bath. After a hot spring bath, we take the launch and continue towards Samrung where we take a jeep for drive back to Pokhara. We walk 4 hours and drive 4 hours overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.
