Stretching from east to west the Himalaya serves as a source of water to the entire country which reaches Gangetic plain called Terai in lowland of Nepal.

Here let’s have a short brief about Nepal. Nepal is located between Tibet and India at the southern lap of Himalaya which literally looks rectangular shape. The north is all Himalaya from east to west so it consists of high mountains, hidden valleys and deep gorges. Hilly region occupies most of the countries area nearly two third. Gangetic plain called Terai stretches throughout the southern part of Nepal which is also called the food plate of Nepal.

Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal which is surrounded by hills covered by lush green forest. Kathmandu valley consists of three districts Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. These entire three districts used to be seperate kingdom during medieval age. There are seven UNESCO world heritage sites inside Kathmandu valley which are Swayambhunath stupa, Kathmandu daurbar square, Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath stupa, Patan daurbar square, Bhaktapur daurbar square and Changu narayan temple. You can visit these heritage sites to explore medieval art and articraft. Swayambhunath and Bouddhanath are Buddhist stupa so here you can see many shrine, monastery, deities and monks performing prayers moving prayer wheels clockwise. Kathmandu Daurbar square is a square of ancient royal palace, several temples and yet the home to the living goddess Kumari. Strolling through the bustling streets where you can find small alleys to communal courtyard surrounded by houses.

Chitwan national park is one of the prominent UNISCO world heritage sites which is located in the southern plain of low land. Chitwan national park is famous for its bio diversity where we can find some of the endangered species like one horn rhino, royal Bengal tiger, Gharial crocodile, fresh water dolphin called gangetic dolphin. 67 species of mammal, 125 species of fish, and 545 species of bird can be found here.  This place is also famous for wetland which is home to several bird and animal species. This region has many more things to offer to visitor. The local indigenous people called Tharu are rich in cultue and custom while exploring it is amazing. There are several religious sites including Balmaki temple which are additional highlight for pilgrim. Jungle safari, canoe ride, elephant safari, bird watching, Tharu culture exploration are the major highlights we can have here.

Everest region is famous mainly for Mount Everest but it has numerous things to offer. Everest region is located in the north eastern part of Nepal solukhumbu district province no 3. It is famous for Mt Everest, Sherpa people, ancient monastery, sacred cave, Lukla airport, Namche Bazar, Khumbu icefall, Khumbu glacier, Gokyo lakes, Himalayan Thar etc. Everest region is mainly located inside Sagarmatha National Park which is UNESCO heritage site. While talking about the access to Everest region we can get there by flight and by taking a jeep. Trekking, Mountain climbing, Sky diving, culture explore are the major activities we can do here. Lumbini

Lumbini is the birth place lord Gautam Buddha who is known as the light of Asia. He was born in 563 BCE as prince of his king father Suddhodan. So Lumbini is the Vatican of Buddhist where many pilgrim and visitor come from around the world.

Lumbini is located in the southern part of Nepal at low land of Terai. It is 287 Km away from Kathmandu,  109 km from Chitwan and Pokhara is 203 km via Tansen. Ashok pillar, Mayadevi temple, eternal lamp are the major highlights besides you can visit hundreds of beautiful monastery build by several countries. There are many luxury hotel, resort and pilgrim house are built so you can stay according to your preferences.

Pokhara is another major city in Nepal with growing potential for tourism. If Kathmandu is political and cultural capital, then Pokhara is tourism and natural capital. Pokhara is the only city in the world offering amazing mountain view at its backdrop as Annapurna’s which makes it so special and unique of its kind. Pokhara is located at the western Nepal 200 km away from Kathmandu. There are dozens of schedule flight between Pokhara and Kathmandu which is very convenient for them who likes to escape road journey. There are bunch of lakes around Pokhara the famous and biggest one is Phewa lake which is located next to the touristic hub called Lakeside.  Boating around the lake, cycling, mountain flight, paragliding, trekking, hiking, recreation, therapy, spiritual exploration, yoga, meditation are the major activities. Place of interest are Sarangkot, peace pagoda, Mountain museum, Seti gorge, Davis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, etc.
