Historically the whole Kathmandu city used to be three kingdoms Kantipur, Patan, and Bhaktapur and was very prosperous while temples and monuments were built at that time. It was a medieval-era when culture, art, and literature were flourishing what we call the golden era of Nepali art and culture. You can still see most of the monuments well protected around Kathmandu. Kathmandu city is surrounded by a lush green hill from all side and outskirt countryside is truly worth visiting. This sanctuary is very famous for bird watching and some animal-like musk deer, cat tiger, wild boar, weasel, porcupine, honey badger, and pangolin can be seen during the trek. We stop first overnight at Chisapani 2180m which is famous for a panoramic view of the Himalaya including the Langtang region, the Rolwaling region, the Ganesh Himal region and the Everest region.
