Summer Vacation Family Trekking with Kids

Upon your arrival on Kathmandu, you will pick up by private vehicle and drive/transfer to the hotel in Thamel. 7 km away from airport, Thamel is located at the tourism hub of Kathmandu. Check-in to hotel and take orientation program. At evening, shopping and preparation of trekking. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Early morning, take a breakfast in hotel and meet a guide. Walk to the bus station at Kathmandu and drive to Pokhara. Enjoy the 7 hours of scenic drive following the Trishuli river and rural areas. Check-in to Pokhara hotel. At evening, take your leisure walk to Lakeside. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Early morning, drive to the Pokhara airport and take 20 – 25 min of scenic flight to the Jomsom (2,700m). Jomsom is the one of the beautiful valley of Mustang region where you will start your trek. Walk 3 hrs through the rocky cliff and desert all the way up to the Kagbeni (2,806m) and overnight at mountain lodge.

Today you will trek 3 hours to the Muktinath and spend pilgrimage hour surrounding the temple. This temple is one of the popular Vishnu temple of Nepal and records the first highest altitude of world (3,710m). Also, it is sacred place for both Hindu and Buddhist. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Muktinath.

From today you will trek back the same route but different destinations. Walk through the yak pasture and rural area of Upper Mustang. Walk three hours and reach the Yaklabhatti. Stroll around the village to explore lifestyle and culture of ethnic groups. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Yaklabhatti.

From Yaklebhati you will walk four hours to the Marpha village. This village is Nepal’s apple capital where local also manufactures the brandy named Marpha. Here you can visit the apple farm, taste the brandy and even shop them. At evening, stroll around the village with kids. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Marpha.

Today is the longest hour of trek where you will walk five hours from Marpha to Kalopani (2,530m). Enjoy the mesmerizing trekking trails through the deepest gorges between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. At evening, stroll around the village with kids. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Kalopani.

From today you will take a scenic drive to the destinations. From Kalopani drive 3 hours to the Tatopani by local bus. The world ‘Tatopani’ literally means ‘hot water’. Here you can enjoy the hot spring water which will fade away your all tiredness of the trek at once. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Tatopani.

Early morning after breakfast, take local bus and again drive Tatopani to Pokhara. Enjoy the 7 hours of scenic drive following the Kali Gandaki river. Lunch break en-route. Chech-in to Pokhara hotel. At evening, stroll around the Lakeside for the leisure walk and shopping. Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Today is the last day of the trip. Early morning after breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Enjoy the seven hours of scenic drive following the Trishuli river. At evening, stroll around the Thamel or nearby parks with kids which we suggest you Garden of Dreams. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Today is your last day in Nepal. Have final hour of shopping and preparation for the departure. Our representative will transfer to the Kathmandu international airport by private vehicle. Take off the flight for your onward journey.
