Tamang heritage Langtang valley Gosaikunda pass Sundarijal trek route in Langtang region developed is the recently opened trekking route in Langtang region. This trail was developed by the Tourism for Rural Poverty alleviation program under United Nations Development Project (UNDP). This trail begins from Sundarijal which is 15 km from Kathmandu valley and Trail offers a glance of the typical lifestyle and culture of mountain people called Tamang. The trail passes through traditional Tamang villages (Goljung, Gatlang, Nagthal, Briddim) where life, culture, and crafts have remained unchanged since the beginning of the settlement.

In addition to cultural experience, this trekking also offers stunning mountain views of Langtang valley and wilderness walking experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine terrain and rhododendrons forests. A Hot bath in the healing hot-water spring at Tatopani will also be an unforgettable experience of this trekking.

Which is situated at an altitude of 4,380 m in the Rasuwa District with a surface of 13.8  lakes in Nepal’s Langtang National Park. Thousands of Hindu and Buddhists pilgrims visit the lakes during a full- moon festival in August and Hindu people believe that the god Shiva, intoxicated by grief due to his wife’s death, felt thirsty so he hit the stone with his holy stick, thus creating the lakes. In the same place, Lake Gosaikunda originates and Hindu people believe that the image of shiva can be seen on the middle surface of the water.
