Trek Overview

EBC trek is one of the best trekking destinations for adventure travelers where you can reach the foot of the world's highest mountain Mount Everest. The trip has an exciting half-hour mountain flight to Lukla that will take your thrilling appetite. The Everest base camp trek commences with a mountain sherpa guide and helper. The EBC trek offers you the most scenery and landscape along with the culture, customs, and traditions of the local Sherpa people.

This is the highly recommended trek by a world-renowned travel guidebook. As you take your first step into the Khumbu region the scenery will surprise you. As you land on the Tenzing Hilary airport in Lukla you can see the amazing landscape, smiling local Sherpa people, Mani walls, people with spinning wheel. You will find numerous shops, restaurants, café-bars, snooker houses, and a variety of lodges. Then your trek to Everest base camp leads towards Phakding village in between Lukla & Namche. You will descend 200 m below Lukla to reach Phakding. Consequently, that is good for better acclimatization.

EBC trek continues as we step towards the sacred mountain Khumbi Yu Lha (5762m/18900ft). Just at the foothill of this mountain is the town of Namche also called the gateway to ebc trek. Next day our walk will be just above Namche where you will find the highland settlement Khumjung at 3700m/12136ft and Nepal’s highest airfield at Syangboche. While this walk will help to get acclimatized. Without proper acclimatization, it’s not possible to complete the trek without any sickness. We will continue our journey to EBC following Dudhkoshi River Valley somehow. Furthermore, the other highlights for EBC trekking are the monastery of Tengboche, Pangboche village, Dingboche & Pheriche village, Khumbu glacier, and all the world's tallest mountains & peaks.
