Trek Overview

Simikot Limi Valley trekking  wilderness trekking in Nepal. The trekking trail between  two country Nepal and Tibet. The  trail pass through the beautiful village Kermi. The trail descend altitudes below 3000 meters. You will see vegetation and trees begin to emerge again. You will walk through the pine and birch trees with the Sali River by our side. The trail lead to Karnali river and natural hot springs.

Simikot Limi Valley trekking through the Yalbang the  trail steep ascent for 2 hours cross suspension bridge over the Sali River. Yalbang has so many places and heritage sites to offer that you could easily spend an day here.   The Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery is one of them and shelters about 130 monks. During this trek you have a chance to spot the elusive snow leopard, Himalayan blue sheep, jackals, hyenas and musk deer. You sleep in authentic, small Buddhist villages and camp in amazing spots amidst the snow-capped mountains.   The trail ascent Nara La Pass at 4620 m.  From Pass you can view amazing panoramic mountain view of Nepali  and Tibetan mountains. After few hour descending you will be a Hilsa border of Nepal and Tibet.

Simikot Limi Valley trekking trail lead to pine trees and rocky hillocks. You will cross the Karnali River through a big wooden suspension bridge. Also you can see old life style and sheep and donkey carrying sacks of salt on their backs to trade for grain. They are incredible supporting the human being. After tea coffee recommended to visit Dhungkar Choezom Monastery, which is affiliated to Shakya Lineage. Limi valley trekking  visit isolated location, the villages are very untouched by modern development. Century old Buddhist traditions interwoven with shamanistic influences are still an important part of daily life, follow the ancient salt trading and pilgrimage route to the border of Nepal and China.
