Simikot Limi Valley trekking  wilderness trekking in Nepal. The trekking trail between  two country Nepal and Tibet. The  trail pass through the beautiful village Kermi. The trail descend altitudes below 3000 meters. You will see vegetation and trees begin to emerge again. You will walk through the pine and birch trees with the Sali River by our side. The trail lead to Karnali river and natural hot springs.

Simikot Limi Valley trekking through the Yalbang the  trail steep ascent for 2 hours cross suspension bridge over the Sali River. Yalbang has so many places and heritage sites to offer that you could easily spend an day here.   The Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery is one of them and shelters about 130 monks. During this trek you have a chance to spot the elusive snow leopard, Himalayan blue sheep, jackals, hyenas and musk deer. You sleep in authentic, small Buddhist villages and camp in amazing spots amidst the snow-capped mountains.   The trail ascent Nara La Pass at 4620 m.  From Pass you can view amazing panoramic mountain view of Nepali  and Tibetan mountains. After few hour descending you will be a Hilsa border of Nepal and Tibet.

Simikot Limi Valley trekking trail lead to pine trees and rocky hillocks. You will cross the Karnali River through a big wooden suspension bridge. Also you can see old life style and sheep and donkey carrying sacks of salt on their backs to trade for grain. They are incredible supporting the human being. After tea coffee recommended to visit Dhungkar Choezom Monastery, which is affiliated to Shakya Lineage. Limi valley trekking  visit isolated location, the villages are very untouched by modern development. Century old Buddhist traditions interwoven with shamanistic influences are still an important part of daily life, follow the ancient salt trading and pilgrimage route to the border of Nepal and China.

Trek to Dharapuri. (2300m).'

From Simikot ascent to reach a mountain pass at an altitude of 3150m. Then descend for about an hour to Majgaon. Trek to Dharapuri. Overnight in camp.

Dharapuri to Kermi. (2670m).'

Trek alongside the Karnali River as it works its way through narrow gorges. The trial pass through the cultivation field where can grow barley, buckwheat, potatoes and rice. Beside you can visit Lakiyo Gompa and Lhundrup Choeling Gompa. Overnight in camp.

Trek to Yalbang (3020m ).'

The trail ascent alpine area more rocky and desolate. The trail cross Pani Palwang village. Here is pleased place to have lunch. Over night at camp.

Today you will start to walk early because you have to cross Nara La Pass at 4620 m. After few hour descending you will be a Hilsa border of Nepal and Tibet. Overnight in camp.

Today you will gain little bite high altitude. The trail lead again alongside the Karnali River all the way to Manepeme through to barren landscapes .Overnight in camp.

 Trek to Til (4000m ).'

The trail ascent continues up a narrow path to a meditation cave, Ya Yip Phuk. Here you can observe cave which is important in Buddhism history where Lotsawa Rinchen Sangpo (985-1055 AD), a famous translator of Buddhist scriptures, meditated in this very cave. The trail lead to Lamka La Pass (4300m) then decend to the Village Til. Overnight in camp.

Trek to Halji (3660m).'

Today you have chanced to observe wild animals mountain goats, snow leopards, and even blue sheep. The Halji village has beautiful Mani wall which is built up with many stones with holy mantras and Buddhist deities carved on them. Day excursion to the Limi Valley. Over night at Camp.

Trek to Jang (3930m).'

The trail pass through the Limi River. This village is tiny and beautiful. It is last forbidden area of the world which is far from the modern hustle and bustle. Here you can observe Tibetan cultures and tradition life style. Overnight in tented camp.

Today you will walk spectacular wilderness area of Limi valley trekking area. The landscape is arid and the trail lead few rivers and streams. From here you will assent to the Talung. Overnight in camp.

Trek to Shinjungma (3620m) across the Nyalu La Pass (4940m).'

The trail lead to Nyalu La Pass(4940m) which is highest elevation of this trek. From Pass you have chance to observe spectacular views of Humla and Tibet and some glorious mountains; Mount Saipal (7031m) and Mount Kailash (6714m). The descend to the Shinjungma via Selma Tso(lake). Overnight in camp.

Trek to Kermi (2670m).'

The trail pass through the beautiful village Kermi. The trail descend altitudes below 3000 meters. You will see vegetation and trees begin to emerge again. You will walk through the pine and birch trees with the Sali River by our side. The trail lead to Karnali river and natural hot springs. Overnight in camp.

Trek to Simikot. (2950m).'

The trail lead to up and down along the road. The trail pass through the two beautiful village to Darapuri (2300m) and Majgaon (2290m). From Majgaon that the trail begins to ascend up to 3000m to a pass then trail descend to the Simikot. Trek end. Overnight in camp or hotel.
