Annapurna easy trek: balancing environmental conservation and socioeconomic development through community participation in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project. The Annapurna short trek offers views of the world-famous Himalayan ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and others that appear so close as to make you feel as though you can almost touch them. Annapurna short trekking combines lush, fertile farming land, stands of undisturbed natural forest, and a mixture of different ethnic inhabitants, offering a diverse range of experiences that make this area one of the most satisfying trekking destinations in the Annapurna region.

The short Annapurna trek commences with a scenic drive to Syauli Bazaar from Pokhara City. The trail ascends through the terraced hillsides and cultivated fields to the Ghandruk village (1940m). The village is one of the larger Gurung settlements with modern structures. Here you can visit Gurung traditional museums and the ACAP area office, which has a regular video show about conservation and ecological matters. The Short Annapurna trek's other highlight is Chomrong village (2170 m), where there is a close-up view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre mountain. The village is the last permanently inhabited village on the route to the sanctuary.

The short Annapurna trekking area is rich in flora and fauna, with coniferous forests of pine and ultimate juniper and tropical species to more temperate stands of forest trees, including oak, beech, and rhododendron. Teahouses provide excellent service along most of the short Annapurna trek routes. The short trek route is the most popular. The short Annapurna trek can be combined with the Annapurna Base Camp. The short Annapurna trek is organized according to interest, affordable cost, excellent service, and a lifetime experience.
