Tilicho Lake trekking is off the beaten trekking in Nepal. The spectacular view of the Annapurna range and mixed culture is the major magnetism of this trek. The Tilicho Lake (5200m) is the world's highest lake situated in Trans Himalayan zone in Nepal. The trekking route is combined with the Annapurna circuit trek. While the trekking commences at Syange(1270m). Furthermore, the trail flows Marshangdi River entire trail up to Tilicho Lake and with grand views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east.
The Manang village is the tourist hub for the Annapurna circuit and Tilicho Lake trekking. Here you can get facilities for telephone, internet, money exchange, small shopping, a high altitude hospital, a German bakery, and more. Manang inhabited the Tibetan religious people, and hence they have a different culture and customs. Tilicho Lake: It is 16,138 feet (4,919 meters) above sea level, making it one of the world’s high-altitude lakes. The lake’s breathtaking blue waters are surrounded by mountains with snow-capped peaks, making the entire landscape look otherworldly due to its unique beauty.
The lake is also of religious significance in Hindu mythology, mentioned in the Ramayana epics. The lake’s secluded, unblemished surroundings make it more mysterious.
Thorong La Pass: It is one of the highest trekking points in the world, with an elevation of 5,416 meters (17,769 feet). Passing Thorong La Pass is the culmination of trekking in the Annapurna Circuit.
The pass also gives breathtaking 360-degree views of the Annapurna range, with mountains such as Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Thorong Peak being visible from a distance.
Muktinath: At an altitude of 3,710 meters (12,172 feet), Muktinath is one of the holiest places for Hindus as well as Buddhists alike. " Muktinath " is known to mean "place of liberation.
108 Water Spouts: The complex is also home to 108 sacred water spouts in the form of bull’s head, from which devotees take baths in the icy water from the Himalayas, which is supposed to wash away their sins.
