Chandragiri day tour is one of the popular hill-top destinations located in the southwest of Kathmandu valley. The hill is 2,551m/8,367ft above sea level and offers an outstanding view of the Himalayas, landscapes, and Kathmandu valley. The Chandragiri hill can be accessed by cable car. In this Chandragiri day tour, we will reach the top by cable car. Starting from Kathmandu, drive 45 minutes to the Chandragiri bottom station. Here, you will require your passport and pay the cable car fee accordingly. We have excluded the cable car fee in this tour due to different market rates and discount policy as listed below:
Chandragiri day tour is truly an excellent trip for religious, natural, and amusing sites, which are suitable for all ages. Enjoy the scenic ropeway, which lasts 10 minutes to reach the top. Here you will explore the Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple and the mythological facts behind this temple dedicated to lord Shiva. Other amenities like a view tower, an amusement park, pony rides, and shops are also available according to your interests. You can participate in these activities on your own until we have our lunch at noon. Enjoy the delicious buffet set that is available in veg and non-veg. After lunch, we will take the cable car that returns down to the bottom station and drive back to Kathmandu. The tour ends.
