The trek begins and ends in Pokhara; in Pokhara, you can cycle, go boating, or walk around the lake. Pokhara is quieter and more peaceful than the other cities in Nepal. During the trek, you can observe various ethnic communities' culture, lifestyle, habits and manners, agriculture farms, fertile land, various types of flora and fauna, and rhododendron forests, as well as other green forests. You can share happiness and other experiences with local people. Pokhara has been the gateway and resting place for the trekkers and mountaineers since 1950. The Annapurna Circuit trek is one of the major trekking routes that ends at Pokhara.

From Ghorepani Poon Hill, the trail ascends through an exotic rhododendron forest to Gurung Hill. From here, you can observe the Annapurna panoramic view from Poon Hill. The trail continues up and down to the Deurali. From the Deurali trail, descend to the stream, then make the final ascent to Tadapani.
