Winter family vacation to Nepal

After arrival in Kathmandu International airport, you will be welcomed by our officer he who will assist you to transfer the hotel. Check-in to hotel located at Thamel, the tourism hub of Kathmandu. Orientation program of the overall trip. Meet your trekking guide. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Take early breakfast in the morning and walk to the tourist bus station with trekking guide. At 7am, drive Kathmandu to Pokhara which takes overall seven hours to reach. Enjoy the scenic drive following the Trishuli river, rural area, highway and scenario. Leisure time rest of the day. Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Take early breakfast in the hotel and drive one hour to the Nayapul (1,070m) where your trekking starts. Nayapul is the small village with facilities. Final shopping in Nayapul if necessary. Then you trek 5 hours to Ulleri via lunch at Birethani. In Ulleri, you will stay your overnight in warm hospitality mountain lodge.

Today the trail leads you to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2856m. Gently ascend up through the Oak & rhododendron forest and reach Ghorepani. If time is permitted you can hike to Poon hill for the sunset. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Early morning before dawn, hike to the Poonhill for the mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalaya. At an elevation of 3,210m, you can view the panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu massifs. Hike back, have breakfast and continue the trek to Tadapani (2,625m). Overnight at mountain lodge in Tadapani.

Today you will descend down to Langdrung following the Modi Khola which are flowing from the Annapurna Base Camp. Lunch en-route at Ghandruk which is the major village of Gurung community. Here you can visit Gurung museum as you route to the Landrung. Overnight at the mountain lodge in Landrung.

Early morning, you can view the sunrise over the massive Annapurna south (7,219m) and Himchuli (6,444m). Trek to the Deurali where you can view Pokhara valley in good weather. Have a lunch break and continue the trek to Dhampus (1,780m). Overnight at the mountain lodge in Dhampus.

Early morning, observe the splendid view of Annapurna range and Manaslu himal with sunrise. The trail descends bending through the tropical forest to Phedi (1180m) where your trek ends. Take a vehicle and drive half an hour to Pokhara. Check in hotel and have a rest, leisure and fun. O/n at hotel in Pokhara.

From Pokhara, take 30 min scenic flight to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Leisure. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family, kids and relatives. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

At morning, you can do final hour of shopping, prepare your luggage, check-out, etc. Prior to your flight time, we will send private vehicle to your hotel to transfer you to the Kathmandu international airport. The last day in Nepal has now over and shall final depart onwards to your journey.
