Explore around the Thimphu, the modern capital of Bhutan. You’re visiting the Institute of Traditional Medicine, where old healing arts such as acupuncture and herbal remedies are still practiced. The National Memorial Chorten, built in honor of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Punakha, an ancient capital of Bhutan. Get great view of the Himalayan ranges particularly the peak of Chomolhari to the west and then finally to Gangtey which lies on the flanks of the Black Mountains. Visit the Drukgyal Dzong, the ruined fort, which was once defended this valley from Tibetan invasions and on your way back visit Kyichu Lhakhang one of the oldest temple in Bhutan (7th century). You will observe National Museum. This dzong was converted into the National Museum in 1968.
