Domestic airlines in Nepal cover more than 40 locations, with Buddha Air, Yeti Airways, Shree Airlines, and Tara Air being the main ones. Buddha Air is still at the top of the list among Nepali domestic airlines with an unbeatable service, besides Tara Air, which provides flights to the hard-to-reach places like Lukla, Jomsom, and Dolpa. The most frequented routes are Kathmandu-Pokhara (25 min), Kathmandu-Lukla, and flights to Bharatpur and Bhairahawa. The range of ticket prices for Kathmandu-Pokhara is USD 90-120, and for Kathmandu-Lukla it's USD 200-250. The bigger airlines are using ATR aircraft for the longer routes, and the little ones are flying the Twin Otters to the mountain airstrips. The three main trekking seasons (March-May, September-November) require booking well in advance; however, the off-season gives rise to discounted fares.
